Licensed Veterinary Emergency Technician

Veterinary Assistant

The Village Veterinary Clinic of Hamburg is seeking a veterinary assistant for community/daytime hours.  Weekend rotations are required.  Experience is preferred.  Veterinary assistants will help the veterinarians and technicians during office visits and emergencies.  You will also be asked to help with hospitalized patients and to help maintain a clean environment throughout the hospital.  The most important tasks include, but are not limited to: restraining pets for the veterinarians and technicians, assisting with x-rays, helping with urine collection, helping technicians monitor hospitalized and boarded pets, provide clean bedding, water and litter for our pets, feeding and walking hospitalized patients if directed, laundry, cleaning surgical instruments, autoclaving instruments, and ensuring that all areas are clean such as kennels, cages, exam rooms, treatment areas, isolation rooms, surgical areas, x-ray, and reception.  Please send resumes to vvchom@yahoo.com.  We look forward to hearing from you!
